About this webinar

‘Content design’ is being used around the world as a technique to ensure truly user-centred content that can be produced quickly and at scale (see GOV.UK for a case study). This webinar shares a couple of techniques in how to find out what information your users want from you, when they want it and what priorities they have. Presenter, Sarah Richards (author of Content Design), also goes through how to use that effectively, how to work out what channel it is should be on and the words your users are expecting so you can produce useful, engaging content.

What will I learn?

You'll find out:

  • how content design is different from editorial
  • how this discipline can be used for all types of content
  • how to find mental models for content from desk research
  • the language your audience is using
  • the things that matter most to your audience so you can produce truly effective content
