Understand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students preparing for university in 2020

Hear all about the recent research report from the team at Pickle Jar Communications, including the insights and stats gained.

About this webinar recording

The coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on the lives of A-level students in the UK. At Pickle Jar Communications, we believe one of our biggest strengths is how we focus on the real people beneath our research. We wanted to bring this empathetic approach to the current situation, to shine a light on how students were coping with their new normal (yes, another cliche).

This recorded webinar highlights the key findings of this report - a detailed look at how students are responding to the crisis, what they’re hearing (or not hearing), and what they plan to do next. It includes insights on different student mindsets, how they feel about what they’ve been told about their A-level grades so far, and what they plan to do in September.

What will I learn?

This webinar looks at the reactions of pre-university students to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, exams and university admissions in the UK. It includes:

  • The 8 student mindsets we've identified through our research
  • How students have reacted to the pandemic
  • What do they want to hear from HE institutions
  • Their plans for the future
  • What can we do to address their issues
