We're very pleased to confirm our latest Sitecore Integration is now available to download from the Sitecore Marketplace.

Our latest integration lets you import and update your content from GatherContent to Sitecore. You're able to specify mappings, defining which templates and fields should be mapped and then imported. It's a significant improvement on the previous version, with all these new features added:

1. Single GatherContent Template mapping to multiple Sitecore templates

You can now map a single GatherContent Template to multiple Sitecore templates. This was an essential requirement, as we wanted our users to create their GatherContent Templates with the writing experience in mind. So subsequently a GatherContent Template could regularly be made up of multiple Sitecore templates.

2. Sitecore Workflows support

The Sitecore item workflow state now stays untouched when you perform an update from GatherContent.

3. Sending content to multiple nodes support

It's now possible to import your content and send it to multiple locations in the Sitecore content tree, using the brand new Multilocation import feature.

4. Import media content to different locations support

The plugin architecture is extensible and a new class can be written to change the default location.

5. Multi-language support

It’s now possible to export content from GatherContent in multiple languages to Sitecore by using tabs and projects.

6. Experience Manager support

The GatherContent module can now be accessed and used on the Sitecore Experience Manager.

7. GatherContent Item hierarchy support

All imported Items will now be created in a hierarchical structure under the selected parent node (so the GatherContent Item hierarchy will be replicated). You can rearrange all Items and the new structure will be kept during further updates. You can read about all these improvements in our updated Help Centre documentation and download the latest version from Sitecore Marketplace. Your feedback has been crucial in identifying and prioritising integration improvements. So please continue sending this to us!
